Important Information Regarding Safety and Booking Flexibility

HEALTH AND SAFETY

For so many of us, travel is a necessary and rewarding part of our lives. At Vrahos Boutique Hotel, we always take the necessary precautions to protect your wellbeing, along with that of your fellow travelers and our employees. In light of current circumstances, we have heightened our already stringent practices regarding food handling, sanitization, disinfection and cleaning, reinforced by guidance from local health authorities, in the context of the current situation.

We are closely monitoring developments around the world and are in contact with the Greek relevant authorities who define specific requirements, to ensure that the actions we take are effective and appropriate.

Vrahos Boutique Hotel Services is our comprehensive response to the new realities faced by the hospitality industry, and our very visible promise to continue to deliver the ultimate level of service expected by our discerning guests. Therefore, our hotel operations have been adapted to guarantee safety for our guests as well as compliance with the new regulations. Additional cleaning and hygiene measures have been implemented and some procedures and spaces have been adjusted. These changes may affect some services.

NEW EXTRA CLEANING AND HYGIENE MEASURES

Enhanced cleaning procedures
Certified products and disinfection protocols, including new cleaning equipment are used during the whole stay. Natural ventilation of all areas is strictly applied.

Special prevention plan
We have created a special prevention and maintenance plan for air conditioning units and water systems.

Personal Protective Equipment
Specific personal protective equipment (PPE) and hygiene equipment are used.

Staff Training
Training in food hygiene and health standards prior to hotel opening is provided for all employees.

Sanitizing areas and objects
After the cleaning and sanitization of a room, including all frequently used objects such as switches, hair dryers and remote controls, the room is sealed to be used again by the next guest.

Removal of directories, stationery and decorative items
All paper made directories and stationery in the room will be removed. Decorative items that do not comply with the new cleaning protocol will also be removed.

Daily maid service
Guests will decide whether they want to use the cleaning service during their stay, following the instructions of the Greek Ministry of Health. Cleaning will always be done when the guests are out of the room.

Laundry procedures
Special protocol is implemented for laundry. Changing of linen is done only after the guest’s departure, or during the stay upon request.

Dispensers and prevention kit
Antiseptic solution dispensers for hand cleansing will be placed in public areas. Guests may get a prevention kit (mask, gloves and disinfection gel) on request.

NEW PERSONAL SPACE: SOCIAL DISTANCING

Transfer From/to the port
Private transfer with our mini bus will be available for guests sharing the same room or for families.

Check-in: 15:00

Check-out: 11:00

Capacity reduction
A space restriction order has been issued to reduce capacity in restaurants, and outdoor water tanks so as to guarantee social distancing and personal space. According to the new specifications, our shared Jaccuzi will remain closed. The private outdoor Jaccuzi in some guestrooms will be available only for their residents to use.

Breakfast time
Breakfast will be served at Vegera Restaurant. Buffet-breakfast is no longer available. A reservation is considered mandatory, as the number of tables has been reduced due to new state regulations for reasons of safety. Breakfast will be served in three seatings: 8:30am, 9:30am and 10:30am. Alternatively, a take-away breakfast box will be prepared upon request.

HYGIENE CERTIFICATIONS

TUV HELLAS (TUV NORD GROUP) will certify the hygiene, disinfection and quality standards in all operational processes. SAFE RESTART

HEALTH FIRST Certification is issued from Hellenic Chamber of Hotels.

CANCELLATION POLICY-FLEXIBLE RATES

At Vrahos Boutique Hotel, we understand that your bookings are very likely to be affected by the current situation. Please rest assured that we make every possible effort to keep you informed and to provide you with the level of service that you require in order to manage your bookings and plan around these circumstances.

Ultimate Flexibility

In these challenging times, we understand that your travel plans are significantly impacted and that it is very difficult to plan ahead. As a trusted guest, we wish to support you in the following ways:

  • If you have an existing booking, we offer total flexibility to help you change the dates or, if necessary, cancel.
  • If you are planning a trip in the near future, no deposit will be charged upon reservations with flexible rates.
  • We wish to make your decision as easy as possible, therefore, we ensure you that you can cancel or amend any booking according to the respective cancelation policy.
